This document summarizes the results of a music genre questionnaire. It asked questions about respondents' ages, gender, favorite music genres, favorite soul artists, how they listen to music, what they expect to see in a soul music video, and where they think a soul video should be set. The majority of respondents were between 16-20 years old, listened to music everyday, expected to see instruments in a soul video, and thought a stage was the best setting for a soul music video. Pop was the most commonly listened to genre overall, while Amy Winehouse was the most popular soul artist.

Asking the age of the person taking the questionnaire will give us an
overview of what age group listens to music the most. From our
questionnaire the majority of people taking it are between ages 16 and 20.

majority gender is that listens to music. We asked more males in our
questionnaire than females.

we selected the 5 largest groups and then used. From this we found out that
our genre, soul, is listened to 5 out of the 60 people we asked and that pop is
the most listened to genre.

This was an open question where no one would pick a certain artist. From
this we found that people listen to a lot of the same artists within the
genre, mainly Amy Winehouse. This shows what style of Soul music people
listen to.

people listen to music online, on sites such as YouTube or
Soundcloud, whereas a few people listen to music on vinyl’s. The majority
watching online means that a lot of people are watching YouTube videos, and
that we put marketing online.
