2. 21 jump street
In the opening titles for 21 jump
Street there is big explosions and
loud noises. There is also pictures
of bullets and guns. Straight away
This get the audiences attention
and
It sets the tone for the rest of the
film.
3. 21 jump street
Also in the opening screen shots of
the film. There is the names of the
actors, directors and other people
included in the production team. This is
important because it will show the
viewers who is in the film and therefore
it will attract anyone who is a fan of that
actor.
4. Zombieland
In the opening title of
Zombieland the text is
involved in the action of
the opening sequence.
The text breaks when
‘zombies’ go through
them. This draws the
audiences attention to the
actors and producers
which gives them more
acclaim.
5. Zombieland
• There are 18 different titles
in the opening of this film. In
all 18 of the titles there is
lots of blood which sets the
tone for the film. It also
shows the audience what
type of film Zombieland is
going to be.
6. The conjuring
In the opening to the conjuring there
is lots of dark colours and old fashioned pictures.
This fits with genre of the film being a horror. So
people now they know what to expect when they
watch the film and it will attract fans of that
particular genre. The text also fits the genre by
being in black and in a formal font. However the
opening of this film is over 2 minutes long and
most of the title are the same this could cause
the audience to become uninterested in the film
before its even started.
7. • On average each film opening has about 25 titles. However
some film have very different titles such as 21 jump street and
Zombieland. I think this benefits the film more because it
keeps the audience attention on the screen because they are
wondering what going to happen next. This is a big contrast to
‘The conjuring” because all the titles are similar and are the
same colour. However this is because the film is a horror and
there isn't many colours to fit to that particular genre.
