2. Last year I went
to
stinky, horrible
Rotoura
With my family

3. First of all we travelled to
Rotoura in a car.
It was so uncomfortable
and boring. I had to sit
next to my sister and my
friend Diya which was really
tiresome. It was like reading a
tedious book. The journey
took about 2 hours !

4. When we got there. I begged
my mum to let me go on the sky
swing. That’s where I made a
big mistake. She said yes. Then
we went in an skyline to get
tickets. We got tickets for me,
Prapitha and my uncle to go
on the sky swing.

5. We had to wait for half
and hour until we could
go on. I got excited while
I was watching everyone
else going on it. It really
started to freak me out and
gave me butterflies.

6. It was our turn to go on; my heart
was beating hard as. It was like I
got a heart attack . Then we started
to go up and up to the sky. I kept
on looking to the ground and
everything looked small. It made
me really scared. It kept on tilting
over a little bit while it was going
up. I told my uncle not to pull the
string because I wasn’t ready.

7. Suddenly he pulled it and we went flying across
the sky. To the other side. I suddenly closed my
eyes and started to think if I would survive. It
was soooo scary, it felt like I was actually going to
heaven. Luckily I was alive. When it stopped
I ran down the steel stairs. I looked at my
legs and they were shaking hard out.
