The ancient Greek philosopher, Plato, said that
Co-education creates a feeling of comradeship.
He advocated teaching of both genders in the
same institution without showing any

18. WHY CO-EDUCATION IS CRITICIZED?
Conservative people criticize the system of co-
education.
According to them, this system is against our
traditions.
They fear that co-education will develop immoral
relationships between boys & girls.
They believe that this system will be spoil both
the boys & girls.
But these arguments do not hold much water.

Islam is not against the coeducation if
Islamic values be kept in mind
Girls are covers themselves (hijab)
