The narrator said, they answered: “Yes!”, and the Prophet s.a.w. said: “(It is the deed of) reconciling ( ISLAH ) between the (contending) Muslims, and rancour (enmity) amongst Muslims is (cause of) destruction.” ( Hadeeth reported by Abu Dawud )

33. “ Every Muslim is the brother of other Muslim. He neither oppresses him nor forsakes him (in times of need or distress). And whoever fulfils the need of his brother, Allah will fulfil his need. And whoever alleviates the suffering of a Muslim, Allah will alleviate his sufferings on the Day of Resurrection. No men shall deride [other] men: it may well be that those [whom they deride] are better than themselves; and no women [shall deride other] women: it may well be that those [whom they deride] are better than themselves. Would any of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? Nay, you would loathe it! And be conscious of Allah.
