Responsibilities as Technical Engineer:
 Manage all the activities regarding repair & maintenance of breakdown EMVs (Equipment,
Machinery, Vehicles) and ensures availability and readiness of EMVs at all times.
 Assist the Plant Manager to develop effective maintenance plans for assurance of equipment
availability and high performance measures.
 Coordinates with Stores & Procurement Division to ensure proper availability of spare parts.
 Prepare day to day maintenance reports for corrective & preventive maintenance.
 Routine Visit at sites for inspections with Plant manager.
 Prepare Tenders and Maintenance Contracts for operation & maintenance of Plant & EMVs.
 Manage all the activities regarding Facility management services.
 Control and coordinate all the activities for Erection and maintenance works of new & existing
workshops at sites and ALES Musaffah Yard.
 Control and coordinate all the activities for the construction of offices or extensions needed at
sites and ALES Musaffah Yard.
 Control and coordinate all the activities for the fabrication of Mobile Workshops.
 Ensure that all the activities are conducted in accordance with the recommended company’s
policies and procedures.
 Prepare and execute Skills Assessment Program for Training & Development process of
company employees.
 Develop plans, programs, and procedures to initiate necessary training for subordinates.

2. Responsibilities as Proposal Engineer:
 Preparation of Techno Commercial Tenders for operation and maintenance of Plant / Workshop
& EMVs (Equipment, Machinery, Vehicles).
 Review of Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents, understanding, analyzing and accurately
assessing all ITT requirements.
 Co-ordination, preparation and compilation of complete, compliant and professional proposal
documentation, both technical and commercial, for submission to clients in line with client bid
documents and tender deadlines.
 Management of the estimation process, Oversee and direct Estimators involved in the
preparation of base cost estimates, to ensure accuracy, professionalism and timely completion.
 Reviewing first principle base cost estimates and supporting technical documentation, prior to
review by Management, including the managing of any further estimate amendments if
necessary.
 Liaison with internal departments to ensure that all relevant input received is compliant with ITT
requirements.
 Preparation and issue to client of appropriate and concise commercial and technical requests for
clarification to client during the tender period.
 Liaison with Procurement dept, material suppliers, equipment vendors and sub-contractors to
ensure accurately and timely receipt of quotation.
 Attendance of, and presiding when required, internal tender review meetings.
 Complying with Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures and compliance with
all audits and inspections.
MAINTENANCE ENGINEER: from Nov 2012 to Oct 2013

Responsibilities:
 Responsible for maintaining and repairing EMVs required in the day to day working.
 Prepare daily breakdown and maintenance reports for corrective & preventive maintenance.
 Prepare visual inspection report, EMVs history card, and major repair plan before start the
major overhaul of equipments.
 Analysis of machine failures and Estimation of maintenance costs.
 Replacing the spare parts of EMVs as and when required.
 Assessing the needs of EMVs replacements & spare parts.
 Assessment of the required spare parts and tools for the maintenance of the EMVs.
 Adopt and implement a detailed maintenance plan to minimize failures resulting in stoppage of
work.
 Recruit and train the maintenance staff.
 Keep updated with the upcoming versions or latest machinery required in the organization.

 Working on the processes mainly “hot rolling”.
 Finding the problems & defects which are affecting quality.
 Working on CTQ “critical to quality”, (Uniform grm/ft, Speed of rolling stands, Water pressure in
TMT & rolling stands, uniform bundling).
