6. Analisa/Analysis
1. No Crisis in Sabah
Analysis
This defection will have a dent to the UMNO’s so called fixed deposit. Even if the UMNO machinery
in Sabah were still intact, it would still inflict some damage to UMNO’s image in Sabah. The Sabah
machinery should find out whether the two MPs are outstanding Parliament Members and how
much have they contributed to their respective constituent. Secondly it is a must that the respective
divisions gear up to introduce the upcoming candidate figure for the constituent so that they would
have a head start in fighting the incumbent MPs image and influence. As result of the defection 20
MP seats are still with BN while 2 MP seats (Tuaran and Beaufort) are with Pakatan and 2 are being
held by independent MPs (@AkmalSaufi)
2. Perletakan jawatan Ahli Parlimen Tuaran
Analysis
pakatan.(@Megat_Khalis)
7. 4. Chinese Independent School
Analysis
The Kuantan Chinese Independent School is finally approved by the government/ Ministry of
Education on 27 July, 2012 after appealing by Dongzong and the Chinese community for about a
month and a half. However, Dongzong is complaining another issue as regards to Chinese
Independent School’s students taking the SPM examination instead of showing gratefulness to the
approval of the school. Most of the students in Chinese Independent School in KL are required to sit
for SPM in form 5 as well as the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) in form 6. The students have a
choice of not sitting for the UEC as they will graduate from the Chinese Independent School after
sitting for SPM. There are some students that have chosen such a path and continued their tertiary
studies in both local or overseas colleges and universities. The disadvantages of not having the
students to sit for SPM, the government examination are rather apparent as what if the students
have failed the UEC. They could be facing the difficulties of looking for jobs in Malaysia since they do
not have SPM certification. Without having to sit for SPM, these Chinese Independent School’s
students are very unlikely to take the initiative to learn Bahasa Malaysia as their learning modules
may not require them to study Bahasa Malaysia. With that, it will cause these particular group of
young people another challenges of obtaining jobs in Malaysia. In a nut shell, the government should
not allow Dongzong to decide whether or not, to make SPM a compulsory matter for the students of
Chinese Independent School in Kuantan, but it is a decision of the Ministry of Education, parents,
teachers, and students. (@Jasmine22CKM) Editor: Agree 100%.
5. Kerajaan Selangor dan Langat 2
Analysis
(@Megat_Khalis)
6. 999 emergency caretakers to be trained professionally
Analysis
The government is still on-going in transforming itself. Even the simplest transformation can save
lives and should not discounted (@AkmalSaufi)
7. Duit raya untuk peneroka FELDA
Analysis
Pengagihan duit raya serta sagu hati itu bukti janji kerajaan untuk terus memajukan FELDA demi
menjaga kepentingan semua warga peneroka. (@LianaKamat)
8. 8. Derek vs Raja Petra
Analysis
Due to this situation, it creates such a bad impression towards MBPJ and RPK shouldn’t be too
biased in judging them just because he is in the opposition party. (@iMaduSmith)
9. Segregation in Cinemas
Analysis
Allow me to write a comment based on my own experience. I have friends who are good Muslims
from Morocco, Saudi Arabia and also Egypt. They have visited Malaysia before and some even lived
here for many years. One thing they truly admire about Malaysia is that though it is a Muslim state,
yet the government is so mature in handling the religious and cultural diversity of the people. They
admire that people are free to choose how they dress, from the conservative niqab to the risqué
mini-skirts. Here, people are free to express their religious beliefs without being prosecuted by
authorities, or chastised by other religions. They admire that male and female could interact with
each other without restrictions from religious authorities. Everybody, regardless of race, gender or
even their orientation could live together in harmony. My middle-eastern Muslim friends, as
Muslims feel proud that Malaysia is such a peaceful and free Muslim country. Recently, officials from
Afghanistan visited Malaysia to seek assistances to reform their country to emulate Malaysia. We
should realize that currently Malaysia is an ideal model of a successful Muslim state. If they (Pas) are
concerned that ‘mixed’ cinemas are breeding grounds for maksiat, I believe this is based on one’s
moral values and not influences from the culture. The government shouldn’t be blamed for the
youth’s maksiat because it is the responsibility of the parents to guide their children on having good
moral values. Hence, it is unnecessary at all to impose gender segregations. What next, religious
segregations then ultimately, the apartheid? (@HarrithShazBNYV)
10. Program Rakan COP ditambah baik
Analysis
(@LianaKamat)
