Italy has a literacy rate of 98.9%, which is very high compared to countries like China, Ethiopia, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Nigeria and Pakistan, which don’t have a very high literacy rate. Most of the low literate adults are women. Places like South and West Asia, the Arab states, and Sub-Saharan Africa have about half the amount of people illiterate.
Prevention of this issue cannot always be easy for big countries like India, China etc Countries should start having fundraisers with the money going to poor only for education. This can have a very economical impact too, which is if the need for teachers is less the country should increase the salary by 8-10% which can make more people to be teachers and also that could give teacher some facilities for free like insurance etc. The other way that can solve it is by signing in a treaty that can have an aim for raising a certain amount for educational purpose only.
As per in Italy the problem of Racism is growing day to day in children. As in Italy there are a lot of migrants from different parts of the world, which can have an indirect impact, as there are parents of the children work with the migrated people and can have conflicts with them and can effect their children education.
There are many ways of preventing racism in schools like establishing and enforce a series of consequences for violations of those expectations. Respond to racial incidents quickly and fairly by gathering adequate evidence. Discourage students from congregating on the school grounds according to race. This plays a big part because there are people of different religions and they students love to hang out with people who know the same language. Show films on prejudice, stereotyping, discrimination and racism, which can have a deep impact on students.
