Red5 is an open source flash media server based on Java that allows real-time streaming of audio, video and data. It supports RTMP and provides a free alternative to Adobe's Flash Media Server. Red5 can be installed on Linux, Windows and Mac OSX and provides live streaming and video on demand capabilities via a web interface.
