EVER
Ever   kelimesi bir zarftır ve Present Perfect Tense’te soru cümlesinde kullanılır.. Anlamı; “hiç”, “hayatınızda hiç”, “hayatınızın her hangi bir zaman” anlamına gelir. Karşımızdaki kişinin bir şeyleri tecrübe edip etmediğini sorar.. Soru cümlesinde özne ile fiil arasına yazılır.
Have you ever driven a tractor? Hayatınızda hiç traktör kullandınız mı?
Have you ever been to Europe? Hiç Avrupa’ya gittiniz mi?
Has she ever played chess? Hiç satranç oynadı mı?
Have you ever touched a snake? touch / a snake
see / a bad dream Have you ever seen a bad dream?
NEVER / ONCE / TWICE THREE TIMES / A FEW TIMES / A LOT OF TIMES Hayatımızda yaptığımız bir deneyimi kaç kez yapıp yapmadığımızı sıklık zarfları ile ifade ederiz.
Never : Hiç, asla A: Have you ever ridden  a motorbike? B: No, never. or   No, I have never ridden a motorbike FALSE: I haven’t never ridden a motorbike.
Once: Bir kez Twice: İki kez Three times: Üç kez A few times: Birkaç kez Lot of times: Çok kez Many times: Çok kez Sıklık belirten bu zarflar cümle sonuna yazılır.
I have eaten sushi twice. She’s seen a camel lots of times.
Tüm bu zarflar kısa cevap olarak da kullanılırlar. Have you ever fallen off a bike? No I haven’t. No, never. Yes, I have. Yes, once. Yes twice. Yes, a few times. Yes, many times.
