1 Introduction
This document defines the requirement SPEC for mydlink device auto-firmware upgrade.

2 Requirements for mydlink auto-firmware update
Item Requirements
1 Device firmware - Only online device can be directed to auto-firmware update page.
update page - If the firmware is not the updated version, will direct to auto-firmware update page once this online device is accessed.
- Estimated a time-out period for successful or fail update.
- Three below progression messages are displayed when updating:
1. Downloading firmware….
2. Installing firmware….
3. Rebooting your device….
2 Device Info page - Add the current firmware version of this device on the “Basic Information” of its “Info” page.
- Fix “Support” part:
Only have two entry points for “Download” and “FAQ” which are linked to its respective page.
3 Download page Add one download page for mydlink which lists all downloadable stuffs of mydlink devices, including:
Update F/W
Online wizard (w/o D-ViewCam, Acrobat Reader, Manual, QIG, or other software and documents)
Different region updated QIGs
Different region updated Manuals
4 FAQ for firmware Add one FAQ for firmware upgrade manually for each device’s FAQs

C Texts Updating your firmware may take some time depending on your Internet connection and bandwidth
D Texts Do not unplug your camera or computer during the firmware update process.
