 연구주제와 관련된 과거나 현재에 기술된 논문, 책, 문서, 저널, 학술지,
정부문서, 양적/질적 연구 등의 문서 요약본
“문헌연구를 통해서 연구자는 연구자의 연구주제가 가치 있는 것인지
판단할 수 있고, 필요한 탐구영역의 범위를 정할 수 있음”
문헌연구
 연구문제를 해결하기 위해 기존의 문헌적 자료를 검토하는 연구방법
문헌연구란?

5.  기존의 연구를 확장시키는지를 설명하기 위함
- 이전의 연구를 반복하지 말아야 함
 선행연구를 통해 다른 연구자들에게 연구의 필요성을 입증
 심사자들에게 연구에 대한 충분한 배경지식과 이해가 있음을 입증
 연구자로서 조사 스킬을 개발, 향상
- 자료 조사, 연구 구성, 유용한 예시와 모델을 찾기 위한 효과적인 방법의 탐색 및 습득

해 서론 부분에서 문헌고찰 사용

• 연구시작부분에 광범위하게 문헌 이용
• 서론 부분에서 연구방향을 위한
논리제공을 위해 문헌고찰 사용
(목적진술, 연구질문, 가정)
• 중요성을 강조하기 위해
문헌연구 부분을 독립 장에 두기도 함
• 결론 부분에서 선행연구를 통해 예측한
부분이 확실한지 확인하기 위해 사용
• 연구시작부분에 최소한 사용
• 연구참여자로부터 얻은 관점과 유사한
점이 있다고 생각되는 문헌을 찾아 이용
• 결과에 대한 예상을 하지 않는 대신,
연구 결과나 기존 아이디어의 수정 및
기존 연구물을 확장시키는데 관심을 둠
• 결론 부분에서 선행연구 부분을
개정할지 혹은 지지할지를 위해 사용
• 연구결과물을 비교. 대조하는데 사용
