Several years ago I read this really interesting book (amongst a zillion others), about our
fingernails. It gave all the reasons as to what the different lines and curves, and splits and wrinkles
are in our nails.
Some nails are concave, some convex, some have high moons, some no moons. Some nails split
downwards, some across. These all means different deficiencies with the body. My family has split
nails. My husband started this trend, and passed it along to 2 or my three kids. This is supposed to
mean a lack of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. I cannot remember the response for lines up the
nail. It will be a deficiency in something. I believe it is not the candida that is the problem, but the
result of having candida. It is causing deficiencies in our bodies, and these are showing up in our
fingernails and hair. Like those little white spots. As soon as I stop taking my Cal/Mag, back they
come again.
A friend of mine who also has ridges on her hand shares her experience about how to deal with it.

Her ridges go from side to side. They are more like indentations. Slowly, very slowly-normals nails
are growing back in.
