I want to begin with a disclaimer : just about all of us in the active gaming space support traditional PA. We do not believe it is “better” or that it will replace traditional sports, athletics, and more well-known forms of PA. We do believe that active gaming can (CLICK) meet a certain type of person where they are at. That’s how my journey into active gaming began 13 years ago.
With the patients that I work with in our Health Education Dept., they aren’t usually meeting this recommendation.

In healthcare and public health, there is still a certain amount of resistance to active gaming for a variety of reasons—mainly because of the general RST recommendation.
