The film that we have made would be produced and distributed by the top 5 film production companies: 20th century fox, paramount pictures, dream works, Warner bros pictures and and Columbia Sony pictures. . The 3 films that we looked at are Goodfellas, The godfather and A Bronx tale. . The godfather was released in 1972 and produced by Alfran production and Paramount pictures. .Goodfellas was released in 1990 and produced by Warner bros. . A Bronx tale was released in 1994 by : price entertainment, Penta entertainment, Tribeca productions, B.T. film and Cecchi Gorri pictures. . The movie we made will be globally distributed so people in other countries can watch it too. Question 3
3. The target audience The primary audience for the film that we have made would be male aged 18+, this is because men are that are more likely to go and watch the movie. The gangster film opening includes three main characters that are males. Two are already gangsters where as the one who is seen running at the start, Kabilan Thanges the protagonist, is the one who is on his way to become one of them. The movie we have made will appeal to a broad audience because it is about struggle and changing as we grow up and the audience can relate to it. Question 4
4. progression Since the preliminary task I have a lot more. I know how to work the camera and feel more comfortable if I had to work by myself. I have also learnt to use the tripod and how to make sure the sound is clear and the importance of all these variables in making a good film. I have also learnt that the mise en scene has to go with the genre of the film to create a atmosphere so its clear for the audience what is going on, we should this by using props and costumes in the film that we made. Another thing that I learnt was the 180 degree rule, this is when you place a camera and create an imaginary circle and you don’t put the camera past the line. During the filming we filmed the same scene several times so that it would be easier when we are editing. Question 7
