- Good afternoon, welcome to “Who We Are What we do: the Best Practices Way” presentation. I am Joanna Tam and I am Christopher Ford. Together, we are Best Practices. So, we are here today to talk about the Best Practices Way.
- So, what is Best Practices? Best Practices is about searching for Excellence. Best Practices is in constant pursuit of excellence. The Best Practices’ way explains who we are, what we do, what we believe, and what we plan to accomplish. At the heart of what we do is our vision.
- So, what is our Vision? Our Vision is to see beyond the horizon. This is what BP is all about. When we start a project, we always need to create a world. Then we want to enter this world and the walk-through this world is the work. Best Practices uses innovation to maximize mature fields and discover new reservoirs. We want to discover what is over the horizon. When you are doing what you really really believe in, that's when you're doing your best work. We believe that art can empower people and art has social functions.
- Goals- Our goal is to deliver world-class performance . Our art is about achieving totality . We will consistently strive to improve efficiency and productivity through learning, sharing, and implementing best practices. We aim to offer a painting that a viewer has to stand in front of. We also aim to make work that is visually available to everybody. We believe that creative issues can be solved professionally and professional issues can be re-solved creatively. Our pioneering spirit is to responsibly deliver art to the people of the world. We also believe in the power of teamwork . We encourage collaboration and build mutually beneficial relationships.
- So, why are values important? Values are important because our values are priceless. We are honest with ourselves and others. Best Practices’ foundation is built on our values. Art should be something really powerful. Art should embrace all the tools of art, to communicate as strongly as possible, as clearly as possible with this much of virile quality as possible. We maintain flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, the nature of our work requires a focused, long-term approach
- We are committed to give the best of our best back to the community. And you know what? We take this very seriously. Without community, there is no Best Practices, To us, art is about communication and we learn about communicating by making art.
- Challenges – We are dedicated to take on the world’s toughest creative challenges. As chaotic as American culture is today, sadly, ironically or even perversely we thrive on that. We do what we say we will do. We accept responsibility and hold ourselves accountable for our work and our actions. We are interested in human rights, poverty and environmental issues. As citizens of this world, we are all responsible to these problems. BP chooses to take challenges head on. Whenever Best Practices has a new question, we will always continue to see through a different perspective.
- Culture – . What is our culture? Best Practices’ work is to provide the energy that drives human culture. We need to play with this culture in order to be part of it. To build on our advantages, we will strive to maximize our opportunities for success. We can control this idea of aesthetic and beauty, micromanage it more here, than we could in other cultural situations where there is such a strong established code of aesthetics. We’re proud of our accomplishments but never satisfied. We constantly reach further to bring new ideas and goals to life. This culture is the unifying force for many creative units around the world.
- Innovation – By putting our collective imagination to work for a better future, we help improve the lives of people around the globe. Best Practices sets opportunity in motion. Acting as one organic, agile and efficient creative unit, BP has access to diverse scientific skills and expertise globally. Best Practices is obsessed with innovation and moving forward. What we really hope for is some kind of new and improved tomorrow.
- As creative people, we believe in research and experiments. It is through research and experiments that we come up with the single and essential idea. Just as imagination is without limits, this idea is limitless.
