It was Christmas, our boys were excited and spirits were high. All that wasmiss- y • ••
ing from our holiday cottage was a Christmas tree. So, my wife headed to the lo-
cal SPAR and asked the manager where she could find a tree. He apologized for

noticed her desperation. He told her to shop for tree decorations while he quickly o ur next TV ad.
drove home. A little while later the manager returned with one of his own beautiful
spare trees and gave it to my wife. He did not want any money for it and said her Tell
smile and appreciation were enough. SPAR's generosity is truly amazing.
