7. Student Support
• We want to students to address the digital
capacities of other students. To both
understand the digital capabilities students
need and then provide students with clear
signposts to training, support and guidance
8. Staff Support
• We want to staff to be comfortable with
working with students in a digitally-rich
environment and we want to engage and
reward students for supporting other students
and reverse-mentoring staff.
9. Policy Matters
• We want students to assist us create
opportunities for digital issues to be discussed
and work towards a campus that has digital
embedded in its ethos
10. IT infrastructure
• We want students to be able to support
students to use computing devices and
services on campus for e-learning
11. Development
• We want students to assist with creating
digitally-rich activities that reduce staff
workload (e.g. audience response systems,
peer assessment, lecture capture, open
education resources, etc)
eLSI wants to recognise, value and reward digital expertise in students. We have hired 4 e-learning support agents.
While we call these students e-learning support agents, we would also like them to be digital mentors and technology champions amongst their peers and in their areas of expertise.
