on the outside”
• This pressure can influence how the teen dresses, their attitudes
and behaviors, and the activities that they engage in.
• Pressures that teens face can lead them to engage in behaviors
that may not be healthy, physically or emotionally.

• It is negative behavior meant to cause
pain or discomfort.
• It is a deliberate, conscious desire to hurt
someone else or put him or her under
stress.

indirect actions like manipulating
friendships or purposely excluding other
children from activities.

Bullying?
• Say Something
• Don’t bully back! It won’t help if you act
like a bully.
• say kind words to your peer being bullied
• Be a friend.

• Tell the student who is being bullied to talk
to a parent, teacher or counselor.
• Tell an adult what you saw.
