The document provides instructions for a student assignment to create a program that helps people in need similar to programs from FDR's New Deal era. Students are asked to write a one page explanation of their program addressing what issue it deals with and how the issue is important, how the program will be funded, how its success will be measured, how people will be informed about it, and what existing New Deal agency it is most like. Students will then create an advertising poster for their program.
