Dr. Lunceford is organizing a panel discussion on reflections of graduate school for an upcoming event. She provides an overview of the panel format which will include introductions from each panelist followed by their responses to 4 questions about their graduate program experiences and challenges. The panelists will be asked to keep their answers brief as there are 5 panelists and only an hour is allotted. Dr. Lunceford requests the panelists let her know if they have any other questions.

Hello to All,
I wanted to give you details for the Reflection on Graduate School Panel. Antonio Banks will facilitate the session (heâs
not on the program, but he will be there). Here is an overview of what the panel will look like, and questions you weâd like
you to answer (briefly):
Introductions: Name, institution, year in your program, year in the field, and why you chose the field of student affairs (add
anything else-briefly, that might resonate with the audience).
Question I: How and why did you chose your graduate program?
Question II: What are some challenges that you have had in your program? This could address the curriculum and program
components, balancing school and âlife,â renegotiating relationships and roles, funding, etc.
Question III: What do you find most rewarding as a graduate student and/or in your program?
Question IV: What do you wish you would have known when you first entered your graduate program?
Audience Q&A
An hour will go by very quickly, so please be aware of the time and that there are 5 of you on the panel.
Thank you all very much. Attached is the program in case you need further details.
Let me know if you have any questions,
Dr. L
