Jennifer Mueller Chosen for 2011 Class of Most Influential Women
Attorney Jennifer Mueller of Baird, Lightner, Millsap & Harpool P.C. has been selected for the 2011 Most
Influential Women Award. This annual honor given by the Springfield Business Journal has been
awarded since 2000. An independent panel of judges selected the class of 20 women based on their
commitment to improving the Southwest Missouri business, civic and philanthropic communities.
Recipients will be honored at an awards luncheon October 21, 2011, and a special publication of
Springfield Business Journal will highlight the winners and their contributions to the community.
Jennifer Mueller has been practicing law for over 13 years and has been with Baird, Lightner, Millsap &
Harpool P.C. since 2010. In addition to her legal work, Mrs. Mueller also provides employer trainings on
the areas of anti-discrimination and harassment, worker compensation and wages, and employment
law. Since 1998 Mrs. Mueller has been an Instructor for Webster University, teaching employment law.
She is very active in the Springfield community, and currently serves on the Advisory Council for
Missouri State University’s College of Arts and Letters, and the Ozarks Literacy Council. She has also
served on the Board of Directors for Springfield Ballet, Inc, and on the Human Resources Committee for
Springfield Little Theatre. Jennifer Mueller is an alumnus of Leadership Springfield, Class XVII.
