The lockers mean cyclists can connect with bus and train trips, leaving their bike and
gear safe and dry. The lockers require a $2 coin to operate, which is refundable.
Consideration will be given to providing cycle lockers at more rail stations and public
transport interchanges in the near future. Work will also start soon to look at other
forms of cycle parking at key destination points for shoppers, commuters and at other
community facilities.

The map has been developed by the Auckland
Regional Transport Authority (ARTA) with support
from Manukau City Council. The routes have been
recommended by cyclists from Cycle Action Auckland
and show how to get around on quieter roads, cycle
lanes and roads with space for cyclists.
The map shows locations of cycle lockers, cycle
shops, train stations and other landmarks. It also has
tips and advice for cycling safely.
