1. The Lion and the Mouse

Parrots Snakes Leopards Narrator
Narrator: In the jungle there are many animals: Elephants,
Zebras, Monkeys, Snakes, Leopards, Parrots... and many more.
SCENE 1
− Monkey 1: It´s hot
− Snake 1: I´m tired
− Zebra 1: I´m sleepy
− Parrot 1: It´s very, very hot!
− Leopard 1: We need to rest
− Monkey 2: Let´s go play
− Snake 2: Oh yes, we can swim!
− Zebra 2: Oh no, letś rest!
− Parrot 2: I prefer to sing
− Leopard 2: I prefer to play together
− Monkey 3: I like sleeping
− Snake 3: You are always sleeping
− Zebra 3: Yeah, you never play
− Parrot 3: Yeah, you never sing either
− Leopard 4: You are always tired
− Snake 1: Listen... Listen!
− Zebra 4: Here comes the lion
− Monkey 1: He is big abd strong
− Parrot 1: He´s the king of all the animals
− Leopard 1: He is a great king

2. − ALL: He is a great king!
Narrator: The king lion walks into room
− King Lion: All of you listen... I´m going to sleep
− Animals: Ohhh, he is going to sleep.
− Lion King: Be quiet, everybody. Nobody speak!

Narrator: The animals are quiet and lie down
SCENE 2
Narrator: The animals are sleeping and little mouse comes into
and starts to sing.
− Ms Mouse: It's sunny, It's warm. It's wonderful day!
− Animals: Be quiet Miss Mouse!!!
− Snake 2: You cannot stay here.
− Zebra 2: Go back to your house.P Don
− Monkey: Don't speak!
− Parrot 2: Don't sing!
− Leopard: King Lion is near!
− Snake 3: King Lion is sleeping!
− Miss Mouse: Don't worry. I am going to be careful. I wont
make noise.
− Zebra 3: Go away, go away quick !
− Monkey 3: Yes, go away. Do not stay here. It's dangerous.
− Miss Mouse: But...I'm going to have a bath. I love to swim
and today is very very
− Parrot 3: You are right, but the King can see you and … He
doesn't want any animal near while he is sleeping.
− Leopard 3: So you cannot swim very close.
− Miss Mouse: O.K. O.K. I'll swim carefully.

3. SCENE 3
Narrator: Little mouse is swimming and singing. She loves the
water . But the King Lion is near and he is waking up.
− King Lion: What's That? What's the matter? A noise I hear.
− Miss Mouse: I'm sorry. Oh! Mr. Lion. I'm sorry Mr. King.
− King Lion: A mouse? A mouse? Who are you to break my
rest?
− Miss Mouse: Sorry, Mr. Lion. It's summer day. It's good day
for a swim. I love swimming. Do you like swimming?.
− King Lion: Yes...uh! What I say?...BUT I AM SLEEPING!!!
− Miss Mouse: OH Sorry sorry Mr King. Don't eat me.
− King Lion:You must Know That you cannot make noise
while I am sleeping. I am very ungry.
− Miss Mouse: Please,Please let me go... I'll help you one day.
− King Lion: What do you say?
− Miss Mouse:Yes, I can help you one day...
− King Lion: Ha ha Ha. It's funny! Ha ha ha You'll help me
one day? Ha ha ha.
− Miss Mouse: Why not?
− King Lion: You are too small for me. Just go far away.

4. SCENE 4
Narrator: Three days later, the animals is
meeting, but the lion is not with them.
− Monkey 1: What day is today?
− Snake 1: Today is Saturday.
− Zebra 1: No, no today is Monday.

− Parrot 1: No, no you are not right. Today is Sunday.
− Leopard 1: No, no , Today is...
−
Lioness 2:Yes, today is…
− Parrot 2: O.K. Don't argue. Please. Don't argue.
Lioness 1: The most important today is that the lion is not
here.
− Leopard 2: I didn´t see him yesterday.
− Monkey 3: He didn`t come to have breakfast this morning.
− Snake 3: Where is the lion?
− Zebra 3: Where is our king?
− Parrot 3: Perhaps he is ill.
− Leopard 4: Something strange is happening.
− Snake 1: Yes it is very strange.
− Zebra 4: We must found the lion.
− Monkey 1: We must look for our king.
− Parrot 1: We can go near the river.
− Leopard 1: He can be in danger.
_ Lioness 1: He can need us.
_ Snake 2: Let´s go to find him.
_ ALL: Let`s go

5. SCENE 5
Narrator: A long time later on another hot day...The animals are
sleeping and the King Lion is walking through the jungle.
Suddenly the lion falls into the trap. The mouse hear far away and
she runs to the lion...he is in a net.
− Miss Mouse: Oh my King
− King Lion: (he cries) Help, help!
− Miss Mouse: Don't worry my friend, I can help you.
− King Lion: Look at me.
− Miss Mouse:Don't worry my King. Your trouble will end.
Narrator: She starts to bite the ropes of the net and soon The
Lion is free.
− King Lion: Thank you, my friend.
− Miss Mouse:You're welcome,dear lion.
− King Lion: I never forget you.We'll always be friends.
− Miss Mouse: Yes, we'll always be friends
− Monkey 1: Eh Here is the lion.
− Leopard 1: Yes great . He is alive.
− The rest of animals come into and say:
− GREAT GREAT THE KING IS ALIVE.
− All: THANK YOU MISS MOUSE.
− All the animals:
NO MATTER HOW SMALL A GOOD FRIEND WILL BE
