 It is awarded annually to three exceptional
individuals who each receive $100,000 and, much
more important, the granting of “One Wish to
    Change the World.
 Each of them is a leader in his/her chosen field of
work, with an unconventional viewpoint and a
    vision to transform the world.
 After several months of preparation, they unveil
their wish at an award ceremony held during the
________. These wishes have led to collaborative
    initiatives with far-reaching impact.
 X is an arcade game developed by Nintendo, released in 1981. It is an early
example of the platform genre, as the gameplay focuses on maneuvering the
main character across a series of platforms while dodging obstacles.
 The storyline is thin but well-developed for its time. The player must take
the role of Y and rescue the girl. This was the first occurrence of the damsel
in distress scenario that would provide the template for countless video
    games to come.
 It marked the first time that the storyline for a video game preceded the
game's programming rather than simply being appended as an afterthought.
 This game led to a spin off which became one of the most recognizable
game franchisees in arcade game history.

 Name X and Y
 X appears in two very famous novels which
we all have heard of. One of which is the first
ever novel to be written on the typewriter!
 Little do people know that he is the
protagonist of two more published works
called X Abroad; X, Detective and also three
other unfinished works of which two are
called X‟s conspiracy and Schoolhouse Hill
 Lets the say this 1996 song is titled X.
 X opens with a sample of a monologue performed
by Pete Postlethwaite in the movie Brassed Off
 In the UK, X is a politician. The U.S. equivalent of X
is "going on the stump" or Campaigning
 In the late 1990s, the band received an offer of
$1.5 million from Nike to use the song in a World
Cup advertisement.According to the band it took
about "thirty seconds to say no”
 In the early 60‟s the faculty of certain University were concerned
about the quality of the introductory courses being offered to the
undergraduate students. It was felt that these were burdened by
an old-fashioned syllabus and that the exciting discoveries of
recent years, many of which had occurred at in the campus itself,
were not being conveyed to the students.

 Thus, it was decided to reconfigure the first course offered to
students, with the goal being to generate more excitement in the
students. They approached the Stalwart in the subject and he
readily agreed to give the course, though only once. Aware of the
fact that this would be a historic event, the university recorded
each lecture and took photographs of each drawing made on the
    blackboard.

 What do we know these as? Which University?
These are some of the most famous examples

 When _____ _____ falls in water, _____ _______
    doesn't get wet. Water gets _____ _______."

 "When _____ _____ does pushups, he doesn't lift
himself up. He pushes the world down.

 "_____ _____ „s tears cure cancer. Too bad he never
    cries. Ever

 "If _____ _____ is late, time better slow down
 X was conceived in late 1987 by Mike Salisbury,
part of the parent company‟s marketing team.
 A survey in 1991 one showed that more children 5
and 6 years old could recognize X than could
recognize Mickey Mouse or Fred Flintstone. This
resulted in a lot of litigation and the company
    replaced X with non-anthropomorphic image.
 A character in TV animated series Futurama is
    clearly a parody of X.
 What is the common word?

 What are picture logics puzzles in which cells in a grid have to
be colored or left blank according to numbers given at the
side of the grid to reveal a hidden picture?

 In this puzzle type, the numbers measure how many
unbroken lines of filled-in squares there are in any given row
or column. For example, a clue of "4 8 3" would mean there
are sets of four, eight, and three filled squares, in that order,
with at least one blank square between successive groups.

    crime-fighting masked hero at night:
With his faithful valet Kato, Britt Reid, daring young

life so that criminal and racketeers within the law may
feel its weight by the sting of the X

 This hugely successful series was brought to TV
by the producers to emulate the success of
    Batman.
    ◦ With Van Williams playing the title character and Y
playing the character Kato the show became a huge
success and Y went on to become a major movie star.

probably the most popular flight training

 He exerted an important influence on the development of the
recording industry. He invested US$50,000 in the Ampex
company, which developed North America's first commercial
reel-to-reel tape recorder, and became the first performer to
pre-record his radio shows and master his commercial
recordings on magnetic tape. He gave one of the first Ampex
Model 200 recorders to his friend, musician Les Paul, which led
directly to Paul's invention of multitrack recording.

 The joke begins “____________________" (or whichever
is relevant to that particular variation) and then
places the three characters in a scenario. How each
person in the joke reacts to the scenario is then
explained, the final reaction being the punch line,
    playing up to that stereotype

 Based upon the location the butt of the joke varies.

 Some variations of these jokes are
    ◦ a redhead, a brunette and a blonde
    ◦ a priest, a minister and a rabbi.

States at the age of 6. There he had served the country in
WW1 as a teacher and in WW2 making Propaganda films
    designated Major.

value of unselfishness and hard work.

 His wholesome, feel-good themes have led some to call
his ____-___, but those who hold his vision in high regard
    prefer the term _________.

 It may be argued that much of the 'feel-good' type of
cinema, which has become a genre of its own, is largely
    his legacy.
 His family was involved in sake, miso and soy sauce production
in the Chita Peninsula, Aichi Prefecture since 1665.

 He has some published works like “Never Mind School Records”,
in which he stresses that school records are not important in
one's success or ability to do business. He was famous for co-
authoring the 1991 essay The Japan that Can Say No with
politician Shintaro Ishihara, which criticized United States
business practices and encouraged Japanese to take a more
independent role in business and foreign affairs.

 And his autobiography titled Made in Japan.

 We all know this businessman for his contibution to totally
different field which changed the way we live.

gentleman's agreement that _______ as an intellectual game and a form of
exploration was OK, but serious theft of services was taboo.

 There was significant crossover between the hacker community and the hard-core
________ who ran semi-underground networks of their own through such media
    as the legendary "TAP Newsletter".

 This ethos began to break down in the mid-1980s as wider dissemination of the
techniques put them in the hands of less responsible_________ .

 Around the same time, changes in the systems made old-style technical ingenuity
less effective as a way of hacking it, so _________came to depend more on overtly
criminal acts. The crimes and punishments of gangs like the '414 group' turned
    that game very ugly.

 A few old-time hackers still _______casually just to keep their hand in, but most
these days have hardly even heard of `blue boxes' or any of the other
paraphernalia of the great_______ of yore
 When Precision Optical Instruments Laboratory started developing
Japan‟s first-ever 35mm camera equipped with a focal plane shutter,
the engineers dubbed the creation “_________” after the Buddhist
goddess of mercy. At this point the company‟s logo even included
    the thousand-armed goddess.

When the camera was ready to roll out worldwide in 1935, the
company decided to tweak the name to “______” so it would be easier
    for international markets to accept.

    after him.

many women through earning their own salary in the context of
    male-driven post-World War II, pre-feminist culture of the 1950s
    created many challenges.

 Her own relationship with X was in constant flux. Soon the private
face of X and the public one eventually headed towards
irreconcilable differences as Wise's success turned her into a
    celebrity.
 In 1958 X forced Wise out. Soon after every reference to her was
removed from company literature; it was as if she had never existed.
She owned no stock and left with 1 year's salary.
