This document discusses enriching access to a large historical text using the back of the book index. It presents a system that links concepts in the index to external knowledge bases to provide additional context. Users are then able to ask questions by searching or querying the enriched index. The system was developed by researchers at VU University Amsterdam to enhance access to a Dutch war history text.
