40. CALAF MARKET The Lord of the village gave the citizens of Calaf the privilege of having a market every Saturday. One day the town people went to the market and a cold wind began to blow. The words were frozen and the people felt silent. When the sun started to come out the words were unfrozen and then all the people was talking at once and you could not understand anything.
41. THE DRUMMER OF EL BRUC In 1808, Napoleon's army intended to attack El Bruc village. A child went to the Mountain of Montserrat to play the drum. The echoing sound of the drum made the French army fled because they were afraid.
