Selection of sessions to include in this presentation was done as
follows: I was working in the Ibis Hotel, Brugge, Flanders the
night before this presentation would be given at RSCON5, in
my case from Brussels. I was preparing this slide show when
the Internet stopped working. The tweets I had harvested up to
that point were “selected” to be a part of this presentation.
I feel they give a representative flavor of the conference, and
much more can be gleaned from the FlipBoard aggregation on

Thanks to the phenomenal colleagues in Antwerp who

  • 3. #AntwerpCALL2014  July 7-9 2014 the presenter attended a conference entitled ANTWERP CALL 2014: Research Challenges in CALL  This presentation conveys impressions of the conference and encapsulate dominant threads and research agendas to emerge, through content aggregated on the conference hashtag #antwerpCALL2014  Establishing a conference tag well in advance  encourages delegates to aggregate their reflections and photos throughout event  Twitter feed serves as a model for delegate reflection on future conferences of this nature

Footnote Selection of sessions to include in this presentation was done as follows: I was working in the Ibis Hotel, Brugge, Flanders the night before this presentation would be given at RSCON5, in my case from Brussels. I was preparing this slide show when the Internet stopped working. The tweets I had harvested up to that point were “selected” to be a part of this presentation.
