Answer (after reading the text): In Colombia, we drink a lot of liquors in company of our family and closest friends. We also eat a lot of fried food, like “chicharrón” and “empanadas”. We decorate the houses with lights, mostly green and red. The people throw fireworks all the time, and they look great in the sky.

Answer: The Mother’s Day it’s an especial date when people celebrate the existence of their mothers. They give presents and greeting card to their mothers, sometimes, also invites her to a restaurant. During the whole day (24 hours) of the first Sunday of May in all over Colombia, all the sons and daughters feel thankful for having their mom’s, because they love them.
