2. How to reach Vaishno devi?
• Reach Jammu first by Train/Bus/Plane.
• After that take taxi from taxi stand located
right outside Jammu Railway Station. Private
Taxis and Buses are available for katra.
• Katra is about 50 Km away from Jammu.
Because of slightly mountainous roads, it
takes about 2:00- 3:00 hour to get to Katra
from Jammu.

3. Where to Stay in Katra?
• There are quite a few good hotels in katra.
• It is better to take hotel near katra bus stand
or katra main market.
• We take 2 star hotel hotel Aashirward in Katra.

4. Why Choose Hotel Aashirwad ,Kata
• Hotel Aashirwad is an 2 star hotel.
• It facility was very good.
• It in our budget.
• Its near Helipad and Katra Main Market.
• Free pick and drop to helipad/Banganga
provided by hotel.

5. Helicopter Service in Vaishno devi
• In Vaishno devi helicopter is operated by
globel vector and Himlayan
• Helicopter services start from morning 7:40
am to 5:00pm
• Booking of helicopter tickets will done 2
months before.
• For booking helicopter ticket we consult travel

6. • They charge only Rs 2600 per person for
return tickets for same day return.
• According to there information tickets are 4
types.
– Kata to snajichatta one way ticket.
– Sanjichatta to katra return ticket.
– Katra to sanjichatta to katra same day return
ticket.
– Katra to snajichatta to katra next dat return
tickets.

7. Aarti at Mata vaishno devi
• Mata vaishnodevi arti is alos done in morning
and evening.
• But we haven’t information about that so we
miss it.
• Arti is charged only Rs 1100/- per person.

8. How to go without helicopter
• There is always need for some type of assistance for elderly parents or
young kids.
– Doli - One way journey can cost upto Rs. 4000 per person upto Bhawan, but
this is your best bet. It is much more comfortable for your parents and guys
truly deserve money being charged. My recommendation, go for two-way
journey so your return trip is secured.
– Tattu/Ghoda/Poni - It is more of a fun ride for young people. I wouldn't pick
Tattu ride as primary option for elderly parents. That doesn't mean you can
completely rule out but it is not as comfortable as Doli.
– Rickshaw - Battery operated rickshaw is available from Aradhakuvari (mid
point). Few things one should consider, it is first come first serve and capacity
is limited. It may or may not operate if they have power issues to recharge
battery. You can get Tattu to/from Aradhkuwari but you will not get Doli.
Ideally, it is designed for physically challenged & elderly but rule is not being
followed. again, for elderly parents end to end Doli is much better option.
– Pittu - For small kids, if you dont want to carry by yourself, Pittus are available
at reasonable cost. One way it will cost about Rs. 600. They will walk with you
at your speed. Get their i-cards before you start journey.

9. How to reach by helicopter
• My ticket was at 9:20 Am to I reached there at
8AM because we are curious of helicpter travel.
• At helipad the check by ticket then ask for my Id
proof.
• After that they ask to show debit/credit card from
which I make a payments.
• When they ask for debit card then I understand
why vaishnodeviyatra.co.in ask for my debit card
details for bookings.

10. • That time once I denied to give them my card
details because of afried for fraud.
• But they take me in confidence and finally I
booked ticket from my own card.
• Here I see some persons who booked ticket
from travel agent and don’t having card and
not going for helicopter ride while they have
ticekts.
• Once again I giving thanks to

correct informations.

11. At Mata Bhawan
• I arrived sanjichatta within 6-8 min.
• From there mata bahwan I decided to go on
foot.
• We do mata darshan witin 40 min.
• After that we decided to go for Bharaw nath
darshan.
• After Bharawnath darshna we back to helipad
and comes in hotel witin 4 hrs.

12. • In Night stay in hotel aashirwad.
• One boy In hotel do leg message of my leg and
feel very relax and refresh.
• Next Day I checkout from hotel and arrived
Jammu railway station and back to Delhi.
• Finally want to say a wonderful travel
