2. Our Mission
As University of Texas Hispanic Journalists, we strive to:
 provide mutual support for Hispanic student journalists and those
interested in Hispanic issues and bilingual media and communications
 uphold the study and practice of journalism and mass communication
by Hispanics
 further employment and career opportunities for Hispanic student
journalists
 be the voice of the Hispanic community on campus
 encourage students to participate in the different media outlets inside
and outside of the University of Texas.

 We currently need chairs for UTHJ so if you’re interested in
committing to a position with us let us know
 TSTV will be having their Fall General Meeting this Thursday at
8pm in FAC 21
 KVRX is looking to recruit DJs. Their next meeting is Wed. Sept.
19 at 7pm in BUR 136
 Univision is looking for Fall interns. Contact Claudia.
 Study Breaks Magazine is looking for interns. Contact Alyssa.
