3. UCA Courses
The following nationally recognised training courses are delivered and
assessed by United Colleges
 Diploma of Community Services
 Certificate III in Individual Support
 Certificate IV in Ageing Support

4. Diploma of Community Services
This qualification prepares you for the roles of community services, case
management and social housing workers involved in the managing, co-
ordinating and/or delivering of person -centred services to individuals, groups
and communities.

5. Certificate III in Individual Support
This qualification prepares you for the role of a worker in the community
and/or residential setting. You work in an aged care facility, home based
community care service or disability facility or service.

6. Certificate IV in Ageing Support
This qualification prepares you for the role of support workers who complete
specialised tasks and functions in aged services; either in residential, home or
community based environments. Qualified aged care staff take greater
responsibility for caring within centre guidelines.

7. Student Services
At UCA we understand the importance of providing you with support throughout
your studies. That’s why we have designed our services to help you achieve your
goals. Our support services include:
eLearning Support
The information is on our Student Portal website, you can find different types of assignments
such as type of source, or guidelines.
Student Administration
Our dedicated administration teams at our campus support you throughout your time at UCA
Counselling Support
Studying can be stressful, and the nature of UCA courses can at
times have an emotional impact. We have trained counsellors
equipped to help students through difficult times.

8. Work Placement
For Students who are undertaking our courses, we will provide assistance in
finding employment as part of the course work placement requirement.

9. RECOGNISED PRIOR LEARNING (RPL)
If you have experience, skills and knowledge in your field of work, then
you may be eligible to attain a related qualification. We recognise your
experience and qualification with a nationally recognised qualification,
and fill in any gaps you have with relevant training programs.
If you have experience and not sure how to convert it to recognised
qualification in Australia, we will guide you in achieving thru our RPL
process that saves not only time and money but the effort required to
re-learn the entire process again.
