Leave your car at home when coming to and from the office. Use bus, Avoid buying a single drink in a plastic bottle or taking plastic
bike, or walk… bags from stores
14. “I think it can be more challenging, as I
walk to work, take the stairs, use cloth
bags and a reusable cup. I think it was a
good reminder for sure, but I think we
could be pushed a little further. Thanks to
the green team for their efforts! “
19. Challenges:
Time aspect (public transport use and shopping for
bio-products)
Not possible without plastic bottles
Difficult to find bio-products and triple-certified
products, more expensive;
Not driving affects time spent with family;
Bicycle stand occupied with not used bikes;
No recycling opportunities in Bratislava
20. Recommendations:
A recycling workshop
No bottled water to meetings
Select green suppliers and hotels
Strengthen staff awareness (BBL, one-to-one
communication, one theme a month,
Less printing
Green procurement for goods (eco detergents; bio-food for
events) and services
Can recycling;
Other outdoor events: river bank cleaning;
Mobile solar chargers - on the laptop bags
Teleconferencing;
Only organic food for organic parties!
21. Response:
Continuous awareness raising (newcomers,
more green months / weeks, personal meetings,
etc.)
Jars for tap water distributed
List of ‘green’ stores
List of recycling facilities / options;
Removing non-used bikes from stands
Purchase of eco-detergents
Monitoring resources consumption per floor
