3. Reality is different from fiction.
In fiction, things need to make sense.
Line from my Daily Journal
4. I write my journal everyday, things that worked in my day and things that
didnât work.
So this is the starting & only line in first page of
this years journal,
âReality is different from fiction. In fiction, things need to make sense.â
But people take this in opposite way around. They think, in reality things
need to make sense, not in fiction.
Donât listen to people make your own way.
Do things you love to do, it doesnât need to make sense to other.
I have learned 6 amazing things from sports...
6. After the San Francisco Giants swept the
DetroitTigers 4-0 to win the World Series in
October, Bochy was astounded:
"It's amazing what a
group of guys who play
like a team can
accomplish. I'm numb
that we have won two
World Series in the last
three years." Â

TEAMWORK
ON
Lesson:As an entrepreneur, it's critical to surround yourself with people who are driven and
committed to accomplish your company goals together rather than focusing on their own
individual goals. As they say in sports, there is no "i" in team.
7. THE STRENGTH OF EACH
MEMBER IS THE
OF THE TEAM IS EACH
INDIVIDUAL MEMBER.STRENGTH
THE
TEAM.
9. Swimming star Michael Phelps
on setting goals. After retiring with 18 gold
medals at the end
"I did everything I
wanted to. I ïŹnished my
career the way I wanted
to." Â Â
MICHAELPHELPS
SWIMMING STAR
GOALSETTING
ON
Lesson:As an entrepreneur, it's important to set goals and work toward them every day to
ensure that you leave a lasting legacy that's not ïŹlled with regrets.
10. NO ONE WILL FORGET WHAT
YOU DID OF THAT PRACTICE.
NO ONE WILL REMEMBER
WHAT YOU DID AT THEPRACTICE
BUT
12. The forward for the Barcelona and Argentina
soccer teams had this to say about being a
good person on and off the ïŹeld:
"I am more worried
about being a good
person than being the
best football player in
the world.When all this
is over, what are you left
with?" Â
LIONELMESSI
FOOTBALL STAR
CHARACTER
ON
Lesson: In order to achieve your dream & survive, entrepreneurs must focus on their goal and way
to be there. But those goals should not come at the sacriïŹce of operating yourself in an ethical way.Â
14. After coming back from a life-threatening illness
Williams went on to win Wimbledon, Olympic
and U.S. Open titles in 2012, and had this to say:
"I really think a champion
is deïŹned not by their
wins but by how they
can recover when they
fall. I have fallen several
times. Each time I just get
up and I dust myself off
and I pray and I'm able
to do better."Â
SERENAWILLIAMS
TENNIS STAR
RESILIENCE
ON
Lesson:As an new entrepreneur you will consistently face adversity of some kind or another.
How you react in these times can deïŹne whether you succeed or fail at achieving your goals.
16. Yes you guessed correct he is my favorite of all
sports players out there. And there is one
more thing to learn from this:
âI play for the name
front of my shirt
and people will
remember the name
on its back.â
LIONELMESSI
FOOTBALL STAR
TEAMGOAL
ON
Lesson:As an entrepreneur you must make sure that your organizationâs goal is well understood by
your employees. I always go to work with one thought,âGo to work only for work. And at the end
everything will work.â
18. NewYork Giants quarterback Eli Manning on
success. After winning his second Super Bowl,
one more than his older brother Peyton,
Manning wasn't boastful:
"This isn't about
bragging rights.This is a
lot bigger.This is about
a team, an organization
being named world
champions." Â
ELIMANNING
NEW YORK GIANTS STAR
SUCCESS
ON
Lesson:When you achieve success in business in 2013, approach it with humility. After all, even if you
operate as an independent entrepreneur, it's likely that someone has helped you along the way.
Recognize those people and make sure they share in your success.Â
