Web conferencing is an online instructional tool
 that is becoming widely used in many teacher
 preparation programs in special education. It can
 provide the primary delivery format in an online
 course, be used in distance education along with
 videoconferencing and other technologies and
 serve as a supplement to conventional on-campus
 instruction.

Web Conferencing is offering a range of options for interactions
  outside of class time, web conferencing can encourage students to
  develop a higher degree of ownership, enabling them to direct
  discourse of the class, to establish ongoing relationships with
  instructors and beers, to make informative decisions together, and to
  take greater responsibility for the learning process.
