1. Submit Peer Review Exercise #1
Group D
We analyzed Group C.
1. Explain the complete organization of the content in the document.
2. Do you think the individual sections and headings in the document clearly represent
the idea that was communicated. Explain the reasons behind your comments.
Most sections in question 1 can represent the idea clearly, but some sections in
question 2 can't.
We think some answers to question 2 might have grammatical mistakes. So it was
very difficult for us to understand what is written there, and moreover, there are some
inappropriate answers, perhaps. But as previously mentioned, we hardly understood
what is written, so we're not sure.
3. What details are included in the document?
Company of group C sells parts of computer in University of Aizu with the money that
they get from many banks or friends. By doing so, our campus life will be more useful
than now. And customers can get a chance to study about computer.
4. Was there anything that was confusing? If so, what is it?
It is easy to read because sum up answers succinctly, but therefore, there are some
further explanation.
So, we think that the answer is hard to understand. That's not to say that every
answer is it.
We think it is good that not only answer such questions, but also answer them with
2. specific example.
5. What is good about the writing? Why is it good?
We think that this business is flesh and interesting idea. This business may be
difficult to carry on but it is in requisition.
6. Are there any errors that need to be corrected?
There are many mistakes should be corrected.
Most of them are grammatical mistakes. For example, in the answer to question 2-E,
the sentence "And sell goods cheaply more than major store. And need highbrow." may
be incorrect. "cheaply more than major store" should be changed to "more cheaply
than major store".
Moreover, there is not the subject correspond to verb, "sell" and "need".
7. What specific suggestions for improving the document can you make?
We think question 1 should be answered in the form of e-mail because the
problem is "Write an e-mail". This answer doesn't look like e-mail.
Also, there are too many grammatical mistakes (and some misspellings). We
had a trouble to understand what is written, so we want group C to be more
careful about grammar.
8. Identify three basic differences between how your group authored the document and
how this group authored it?
Group C is going to sell electronic goods. It is difference from what our company sells.
And they launch a company for the people in Aizu, but we launch a company for people
all over the world. It is also a difference.
The form of documents are also varied. We authored document as the form of e-mail,
but they didn't.
