Burning Questions sent in for Greg
Hey Greg
1. Our biggest question is: What sources Greg finds best when recruiting?
thx,
Bob Hicks, Janitor/CEO…..Golden Rule Automotive, Inc.
2. Small shop like mine that needs a little extra help.......part-time service
advisor, yes or no?? this advisor worked for us for many years and retired but
is not happy with full retirement.
Mark Munn…..Auto Works….San Antonio, TX

3. Here is a question for Greg : What do you write in an employment ad to
attract “A” technicians.?
Dennis Albrecht
4. What about an apprentice program. Growing techs from high school and
automotive college. There sure isn't an abundance of seasoned techs out
there.

5. Hello Greg….My name is Sanad Ammari, and I work for my father at
an independent shop. The end game is for me to take over, I just came
into the shop in Feb, and before that I was working at Dealerships. Now
my question is how do I get these techs to respect me as an owner and
not just the boss's son. The reason I ask is because its a daily difficulty
for me to get them to listen to me, on doing work at proper times.
Inspecting things the way I believe them to be inspected. And
especially trying to get them to do a Multipoint Inspection with every
vehicle that comes in. I would love some advise on this, because my
dad's way of just kind of joking around with them and pleasing them to
get the work done doesn't really work for me. Thank you and I
appreciate the time
