3. Aims
The proposed regional ELESIG North West
group would exist to build on ELESIG’s aims to
benefit and nurture shared knowledge and
practice of the learner experience research.
4. Aims and objectives
• keeping up to date with advances in learner
experience research, including learner experience with
technology;
• disseminating our own work in a collegial setting;
• exploring methodologies suitable for learner
experience research;
• gaining feedback on our research projects from
colleagues;
• being sounding-boards for each other offering informal
support;
• networking with other researchers;
• opportunities for collaborating across institutions and
bid for funding together.
5. As a regional group, we will:
• circulate and advertise the SIG so that others
in the North West area can join.
• invite and welcome members in to our
ELESIG North West regional group on
elesig.ning.com.
• organise themed events and webinars within
the scope of ELESIG, and at each of those
events leaving some space for discussing our
own work.
• contribute to the ELESIG committee’s work
and its annual 3 meetings and activities.
