2. 1. Timeline searchUse "view: timeline" followed by whatever you are researching to get a timeline for that topic. This tip would be great for any type of research. The first thing that came to mind was history/social studies projects.

3. 2. Right click to use save-asUse the right click save-as option to save a Google Docs document on your computer This is a time saver. When searching and reading multiple documents this is a nice feature to quickly save the ones you think you may need.

Incorporate Google Calendar and Docs on your Gmail page Have access to recent documents used in Google Docs and get an agendaof upcoming activities you have on Google Calendar with small boxes added to your Gmail page. This would be great for quick reminders of upcoming assignments, quizzes, and projects.

5. 4. Reopen a closed tabOops! If you didn’t mean to close that tab, just press Ctrl+Shift+T to reopen it. How many times have we all done this? You meant to close out a different tab and accidentally closed one you wanted to keep open.

6. 5. Search for magazine content Select Magazines in the Advanced Book Search to locate information from magazines. This will be helpful for school projects. It could also be a tool for finding some supplementary materials for lesson plans.

7. 6. Google SketchUp.If you need to draw 3D figures for class, use Google SketchUp to do so easily and free of charge This tool could be used for math or art. It would also be great for higher science concepts, like a DNA strand. Any subject that could benefit from a model could be drawn.

8. 7. Use multiple calendarsCreate separate calendars for school work, personal information, important due dates, and more to stayultra-organized. This would be good for the teacher to have a calendar for reminders of things to be done, but also have a student calendar. The student calendar could be set to come up as a home page.

9. 8. Use premade templatesUse these 50 pre-made templates to track spending, keep up with your health, and much more. These templates could be a great tool for math, health, and any subject where you would need to track data.

10. 9. Study the oceans with Google Earth 5 Google Earth 5 provides information on the ocean floor and surface with data from marineexperts, including shipwrecks in 3D. This would be great to help students get a current picture of the ocean and other information. The shipwreck feature sounds awesome.

11. 10. Use Google Earth’s Sky feature Take a look at the night sky straight from your computer when you use this feature This would be great for many different science topics. This could be used for phases of the moon, constellations, or specific star locations. A great tool!
