Truth Street Reputable Companies
1. Top 5 most reputable &
innovative companies in 2012
Truth Street: giving credit where credit is due
to reputable companies that actively improve
the world we live in.
2. Sure Google may come under fire for its
information gathering practices and for
starting to monopolize many of the online
sectors they're involved in.
That said we at truthstreet consider Google one of the most reputable
companies in the world (as opposed to say, Facebook) because of the
awesome stuff they're doing with their power.
Google's upcoming project glass is one
such promising example of real life
innovations that could change our world.
And when's the last time you tried to get
directions without using google maps?
Yeah.
3. Salesforce gets the nod from the
TruthStreet staff more for its
innovation. Salesforce isn't the only
cloud-based app of its kind, but it
was one of the first and has proven
how streamlined and professional
cloud technologies can be.
Salesforce also got
the nod from
Forbes Magazine
as #1 most
innovative
company in the
world. For that
alone we had to
include it in our list.
4. BMW
The German automaker has
scored exceptionally well on all
areas of being a reputable
company, from creating local jobs
to dealing with customer's
problems efficiently and quickly.
Beyond an ethical attitude, we at truth street have some additional
qualifications for what makes a company like BMW truly remarkable:
● A quality product. BMW's are pricey cars, but they're also incredibly safe,
reliable, efficient, and drive exceptionally well.
● Standing by their product. When customers have problems BMW goes
out of their way to ensure the problem is solved. This alone sets
themapart from 90% of the other businesses out there.
5. Lenovo is another great example of a Truth Street top company. They're currently
the #2 PC manufacturer in the world, and they've reached this position despite being
a relative newcomer to the computing world. In fact, in 2010 they saw a 44%
increase in sales over the course of the year.
How did Lenovo achieve such
a feat?
● As with BMW, their product is simply
superior to their competitors
● Rapid innovations & listening to
what customers want
● Fantastic customer support and
continued support for
old/discontinued products
6. According to a recent survey by the Reputation Institute, General Mills scored #1
of all companies in the US in terms of overall reputation. While this was party
because of General Mills' ubiquity as a household name, they still wouldn't have
taken the top spot if they weren't doing something right. The bottom line is
general mills has made customers happy for decades, and shows no signs of
stopping any time soon. Keep doing your thing GM.
7. That's all folks!
This list was not meant to be exhaustive, or even absolute. There are plenty of big
companies and organizations with great products, fantastic customer support, and
game-changing ideas. We at Truth Street just wanted to highlight a few that were
doing a good job.
We'll do more lists like this in the future, and you might just see some of the
following companies featured:
● Apple
● Amazon
● Johnson & Johnson
● JC Penny
● Costco
