3. Select Hue/Saturation
4. Select the range you
want to modify using
the bottom sliders

eyedropper
3. Click different parts of
your object to select a
color with the
eyedropper
4. Move the fuzziness
slider until the whole
object appears white

3. Choose your color
4. Brush over your object
until you cover it
entirely, erase any
unwanted parts
5. Change the blend
mode to hue

the object has your
desired color.
4. Select the EraserTool(E).
Change this tool's
Opacity to 100% and

replacing the color put
this layer's blending
mode on Color.
8. This is the most accurate method,
but it also takes the longest.
1. Select the PenTool
2. Draw a shape that
covers the entire object.
3. Then again using the
pen tool draw other
shapes on that parts of
the object that will not
be colored.
4. Use the "Exclude
overlapping shape
areas" from the PenTool
bar (just under the top
menu bar).
9. There's no "best method" for recoloring an
object. Each image may require a different
method so the best "one" is to learn as many
as you can. Knowing many methods for
recoloring an object will make your work
much easier, faster and the outcome will be
better.
