4. Spanish Club Meeting Wednesday, Nov. 2 nd Rm. E-126 Sr. Krenek’s Place We will have lots of good food, a look at Spain, The Day of the Dead and a Bullfight (sort of) Don’t forget your dues.

5. THS Whovians Meetings Wednesdays 2:30-3:30 P226 Mr. Wallman Come see the Awesome that is… Doctor Who!

6. Next meeting of African Students Association is Nov 8 th . Dues of $25 which includes your t-shirt are due Nov 8 th . You can begin paying at any time. If you’d like a hoodie instead of a tee shirt, dues are $30. For more information see Ms. Hutton in E100.

7. IDs Are Here!! If you took your picture October 4 th , the ID cards have arrived. Please come by the THS Library to pick up yours.

9. Where are my homecoming pictures? Please stop by Ms. Pfalzgraf’s room (E129) to pick them up this week!

10. The THS PALS will now start taking orders for the T-Shirt, starting on Monday October 24, 2011 until Tuesday November 1 st ,2011. The PALS will have a table at all three lunches taking orders, but pay must be made to Room L208. Preferably before or afterschool, or in between periods.

11. For those who want to pay in check, must make it out to THS Activity Funds. The money earned will be donated to If you have any questions , you may ask any PALS Member or Mrs. Frnka in Room L208 

12. Seniors, The Houston Community College SW Young Leaders Conference will be this Saturday, October 22 at the Stafford Learning Hub, 10041 Cash Road. It will begin at 9:00 am and will finish after lunch at 1:00 pm. There will be food, fun, and the opportunity to compete for a $500 scholarship!! You will learn how to choose a college, career options, financial aid and how to succeed in college. There will be door prize drawings for Ipods, backpacks, and other goodies.

14. Top Tiger Tutorials (by invitation only) are Wednesdays from 2:45-3:45. Go to your team leader’s room right after school or to the library if you don’t know who your team leader is.

17. Reminder Academic UIL Accounting students—practice is Tuesday before school and Thursday after school. Upcoming tournament in November. Go for the Gold!

18. BPA MEETING: THIS THURSDAY, OCTOBER 27 th @ 2:45 IN MRS. VEREEN’S ROOM! (K204) We’re going to discuss upcoming events, installing officers and members, and giving out forms to apply for committee chairs. Don’t miss out!

21. Senior shirts are on sale in Room C-108 for $15. Seniors should get them for all pep-rallies, panoramic picture, school events.

24. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Pink shirts are in. If you pre-ordered one, please come by at lunch today and pick yours up. If you haven’t purchased one, we have plenty more that you can purchase at lunches this week. Shirts will be sold during lunches and at the varsity football games. Shirts are $10
