The camp lies at the confluence of the Mara’s 4 main game-viewing areas,
and enjoys prime views of the spectacular wildebeest migration between July -
September. During the remainder of the year, herds of watering elephant, giraffe
and other animals can often be seen from private verandahs.
Sitting on a shady raised platform facing the Talek River, each luxury tent covers
approximately 388 square feet and is fitted with either a king-sized bed or 2
twin beds
Each tent is furnished in a classic ‘Explorer’ style of the grand African safaris,
with fine hand-carved mahogany furniture, antique chests, and historic prints
All tents include a luxurious en-suite bathroom with twin basins and modern
amenities
The tents were all designed to open up to the sky and a deck on one

In this arid zone, where water is scarce and the land is baked by the eternal sun, herds of elephants
and the big cats roam, alongside reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, long-
necked antelope, and gerenuk

13 spacious bandas that sit along the end of Kipungani Bay, which is
Swahili for ‘the place of fresh air.’
Shaded by the palm trees that line a 2,000 foot beachfront, the bandas are
constructed entirely from local materials, with mkeka palm floors and
makuti thatched roofs woven by the residents of neighboring Kipungani
village
Each luxury banda is 388ft² and is comfortably furnished with giant king-
sized beds. The interiors portray rustic simplicity, and all have an ocean-
facing veranda with sofa & chairs
