Relative pronouns are used to join two sentences together by replacing parts of the second sentence and making it one sentence. The relative pronouns who, which, where, whom, and whose can be used depending on whether the relative pronoun is replacing a person, thing, place, or possessive adjective. Examples are provided to illustrate how each relative pronoun is used based on what it is replacing in the second sentence.
