Salvation on the Line

2. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.The
old has passed away; behold, the new has come. All this is
from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and
gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God
was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their
trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message
of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ,
God making his appeal through us. We implore you on
behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake he
made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we
might become the righteousness of God.

and gives us the ministry of reconciliation for Christ.

4. Our salvation includes the privilege
of calling others to salvation.

Worship doesn’t exist because men are sinners.
Missionaries proclaim the gospel of salvation;
the gospel believed transforms sinners into singers
and motivates more gospel proclamation.

and frustrating the design of the whole, would be a
serious reflection upon the author's wisdom and skill! How
much more to affirm this of the Word of God! Systematic
theology is to the Bible what science is to nature. To
suppose that all the other works of God are orderly and
systematic, and the greater the work the more perfect the
system; and that the greatest of all His works, in which all
His perfections are transcendently displayed, should have
no plan or system, is altogether absurd.”
