ii) The Integral view.
POSDCoRB View
L. Gulick has given a magic formula of ‘POSDCoRB’.
Gulick’s approach is ‘technique-oriented’ rather than ‘subject
oriented’.
These letters stand for:
 P Planning
 O Organising
 S Staffing
 D Directing
 Co Coordinating
 R Reporting
 B Budgeting
Organizing

of rearranging Elements
following one or more
rules.



different objects in logical
arrangement for better
searching.

and grouping of the works to be performed,
defining and delegating responsibility and
authority and establishing relationships for the
purpose of enabling people to work most
efficiently"

The first process of

shall be done in
accordance with the
plans that are
determined previously.




Linking of departments
has to be done for



Assigning Duties

and responsibility to the

their work.
