Measure A – Building our Future! San Ramon Valley Unified School District Modernization and Reconstruction Status Report February 2010
Measure A – a community investment! Thanks to voter-approved school facilities bonds passed in 1998 (Measure D) and 2002 (Measure A), the San Ramon Valley Unified School District continues to move forward with major modernization projects, promoting safe, healthy and highly functional facilities for our children to learn!  Measure A, a $260 million bond, is allowing the district to reduce overcrowding (particularly at our high schools), upgrade and replace outdated electrical and HVAC systems, upgrade and renovate classrooms that are 25 years old, add science and technology labs and replace temporary portable classrooms with permanent buildings. The designs of these facilities are functional, cost-effective, and of high-quality construction making the buildings easier to maintain and reducing future maintenance costs. In addition, the district has been able to secure more than $60 million in state matching funds, giving taxpayers a higher return on their investment. For more information about Measure A and school facilities, contact the SRVUSD Facilities Department at 925-552-5986 or visit www.srvusd.net

SRVUSD Measure A Modernization Projects Update

  • 1. Measure A – Building our Future! San Ramon Valley Unified School District Modernization and Reconstruction Status Report February 2010
