•TERRA COTTA has the appearance of red clay baked in the summer
sun, and serves as a neutral color for the season.
•DARK CACTUS, the plant that can withstand even the warmest, driest
and dustiest of environments, breathes life into the color palette.
•EGGPLANT is a dark, almost brown version of purple, and was often
paired with lavender on the runways.
•MAROON, sometimes looking brown, other times looking more red,
makes the color story more dynamic.
17. Glow in the Dark
Red Light
Summer Blush
Radioactive
Blue Light
Spring Blush
Mood
A zany combination of colors that may seem
counter-intuitive...until you see them together in
action!
•RED LIGHT, a vibrant pop of red.
•SUMMER BLUSH, a more subdued dark peach
color.
•Chartreuse returns to the “limelight” in the form
of RADIOACTIVE.
•BLUE LIGHT grounds the palette, and provides a
handsome hue against which the other colors
“glow”. It seems to “glow” itself when paired
against black.
•Often paired with shades of brown, SPRING
BLUSH is a color that subtly made its way into
the Spring/Summer 2014 runway.
