Unity Celebration

Celebrate the diversity of Brown's student and alumni communities with Brownâs alumni affinity groups
(Asian/Asian American Alumni Alliance, Brown University Latino Alumni Council, Inman Page Black Alumni
Council, and Brown Transgender, Bisexual, Gay and Lesbian Alumni). Toast alumni leaders and graduates in
recognition of their accomplishments. Co-sponsored by the Brown Alumni Association Multicultural Alumni
Committee (MAC), the LGBTQ Center, and the Third World Center.
Location: Maddock Alumni Center Garden Tent, 38 Brown Street
Third World Center (TWC) Reception
9:00 pm â Midnight
Take a break from Campus Dance and stop in at the TWC. Mingle with classmates and friends in the TWC
lounge and enjoy music and refreshments. Co-sponsored by the Third World Center and the Brown Alumni
Associationâs Multicultural Alumni Committee.

Inman Page Black Alumni Council (IPC) Annual Meeting and Reception
3:00 â 5:30 pm
The IPC Board of Governors invites you to attend the IPC annual meeting and to hear about the councilâs
activities and welcome the new IPC officers. Seniors and IPC members are encouraged to attend and learn
about how they can become involved. Refreshments at the post-meeting reception.

ONYX Rites of Passage Celebration Dinner [$]
5:30 â 8:30 pm
Celebrate the achievements of graduating Black students at the sacred Rites of Passage Ceremony and
dinner. Alumni, faculty, and administrators join students and their families for this special tradition in which
graduating students are inducted into the Inman Page Black Alumni Council (IPC). The Rites of Passage
Ceremony includes a procession, the alumni presentation of Kente stoles to the graduates, and a keynote
address from a distinguished alumnus. Co-sponsored by the Third World Centerâs Black Student Initiative and
the IPC. Purchase tickets online: $20 for students and family members,$25 for alumni and guests.

Music by DJ Garf Digga â00. Alumni, seniors, and families are welcome to this evening of dancing, music, and
fun. Co-sponsored by the Brown Alumni Associationâs Multicultural Alumni Committee (MAC) and the Alumni of
Color Initiative.
