See back of brochure for instructions ◦ Log on to www.ocas.on.ca ◦ Watch the tutorial before beginning your application (accessible from this screen) ◦ Create a User Account (first-time users) and write the information down – store in a safe place! ◦ Return to Apply Now and Enter your Username and Password ◦ Complete the application (if you sign off before completing all areas, the program will save your work.)
- 8. The non-refundable application fee is $95.00 for 5 choices; no additional choices may be made. You may apply to 5 college programs in Ontario, but only to 1 college for a maximum of 3 program/faculty choices. List your choices in order of preference. Payment must be received by OCAS within two weeks of applying. Payment options are listed in the tutorial. Check your e-mail regularly for correspondence from OCAS

Listen to the announcements advising when PINs are available ◦ Log on to www.ouac.on.ca ◦ Complete the on-line Applications Tutorial ◦ Click on On-line Applications ◦ Click on Ontario Secondary School Students (OUAC 101) ◦ Apply on-line Please complete tutorial before beginning your application.
- 12. You will access the online application at: www.ouac.on.ca/101/
- 13. The non-refundable application fee is $130.00 for 3 choices; each additional choice is $44.00. You may apply to as many universities as you wish, but may only apply to 1university for a maximum of 3 program/faculty choices. List your choices in order of preference. Record the OUAC application reference number and keep it in a safe place. Payment must be received by OUAC within two weeks of applying. Payment options are listed in the tutorial.
- 14. If you are new to Canada, you may have to write the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) for university admission when you are in grade 12. It is your responsibility to check test dates and times. It is your responsibility to register early. http://www.ets.org/toefl

December ◦ 13th – Apply to college and university by today January – 2014 ◦ 15th – University application “deadline” February - 2014 ◦ 1st – College application “deadline” April - 2014 ◦ Students who applied to college will begin to receive conditional offers (you may receive earlier) ◦ Students who applied to university may begin to receive conditional offers (you may receive earlier)

April ◦ 1st - Submission of community involvement hours May ◦ 1st - Latest date applicants must respond to college offer at www.ontariocolleges.ca ◦ 29th – Latest date applicants can expect a response from an Ontario university June ◦ 2nd - Earliest date Ontario universities may require a response to an offer of admission ◦ 17th - Earliest date colleges may require payment of tuition fees
